Day 1: Arrive Bagdogra- Drive to Gangtok

On arrival at Bagdogra Airport, our local tour representative will meet you at the specified area and transfer you to Gangtok (135 kms, approx. 4 hours drive). On arrival, check in at hotel and catch an early sleep tonight.

Day 2: Gangtok- Local Sightseeing

Wake up to witness the awe striking natural beauty and charge yourself with morning breakfast. Today set out to cover breathtaking sights of Gangtok. Surrounded by monasteries and orchids, Gangtok is truly a traveller’s delight. Visit Hanuman Talk, Ganesh Tok and Tashi View Points. Further, proceed to the seven best offerings of the city being Rumtek Monastery/ Jhakri Water Falls, Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms (Closed on Sunday), Cable Car (Own Ticket), Research Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), Do-Dul-Chorten (Stupa), Botanical Gardens & Flower show. After local sightseeing, the evening is free for your own leisure and local shopping.

Day 3: Gangtok- Tsomgo Lake Day Excursion

Today morning take a fill at morning breakfast. Today we’ll go for a day excursion to Tsomgo Lake (Timing will depend on the issuance of Permit). Situated at a height of 12,400 feet and an average depth of 50 ft, the lake offers serene and breathtaking beauty with sparkling blue water. Being on such a height, it is highly advisable to carry heavy woollens with you. It is about 45 kms away and takes approx. 3 hours to reach. Tsomgo/Tshangu/Changu Lake is regarded as a very sacred lake by local Buddhists and Hindus. The lake keeps frozen from winters to mid May. You can enjoy a yak ride here (on your own expense). Just on the lake side, visit the Baba Mandir, temple of Lord Shiva built in memory of sepoy Harbhajan Singh. Primula flowers and other alpine plantation provide an immaculate beauty to this place. Later return back to hotel in Gangtok and retire in your cozy bed for a relaxed sleep.

Day 4: Gangtok- Drive to Darjeeling

Today morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Darjeeling, one of the most beautiful and tranquil hill resorts of India. At an altitude of over 2100 m, ‘Dorje Ling’, the place of thunderbolt offers breathtaking vistas of Mt. Kanchenjunga and other snow peaks. Bein about 100 kms away, it takes approx. 4 hours to reach. On arrival, check in at hotel and relax. Later, step out to explore the nearby areas and witness the alluring landscapes. See its tiny waterfalls, little quaint villages, and the famous old railway track. Capture the sunset views of the snow capped mountains and enjoy a relaxed stroll in the world famous tea gardens. Return to hotel and catch an early sleep as you are required to wake up very early next morning.

Day 5: Darjeeling- Local Sightseeing

Today early morning at 3.30 AM, step out to visit Tiger Hill, the famous spot to witness a breathtaking sunrise with amazing colour effects on Mt. Kanchendzonga, world’s third highest peak. When the whole range of snow peaks turns its colour to gold, it is a majestic sight to behold. (Note: The view you get depends totally on the weather on that day.) Later visit Ghoom Monastery, the oldest in the area built in 1875 and Batasia Loop while returning back to the hotel. Have a fill at morning breakfast at hotel and later proceed to visit Darjeeling’s famous 7 points of interest. It includes the Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (both closed on Thursday). The institute was started by Tenzing Norgay after he returned from successfully climbing the Mt. Everest. Also visit the Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Self Help Refugee Centre (closed on Sunday), Happy Valley Tea Estate (from outside), Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda & Ropeway (operational, ropeway ride charges to be paid directly by the guest). Rest of the evening is at leisure. You can explore the local markets in this time and later return to hotel for a relaxed sleep.

Day 6: Darjeeling- Departure to Bagdogra

Today morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel for your transfer to Bagdogra Airport for your flight to Delhi. It takes 3 hours to reach from Darjeeling to Bagdogra thus you’ll have to check out early and packed breakfast will be provided by the hotel.

To book online, you need to make payment as per the minimum booking amount specified in “Book Online” section of this package OR Rs. 10,000/- per person.
As soon as you make an online booking, you will receive a booking voucher in your email.
You will receive a call from our support staff about your booking status.
We will start the process at our end while you sit back at home and dream about your holiday.
The balance payment would be collected as per the case mentioned below:
If you are booking within 10 days of date of travel,

You will need to make payment of 100% of the tour package cost/ tour components costs at time of booking process is undertaken.
Any amendment or cancelation made by traveler would be chargeable as per cancellation policy.

If you are booking within 10 – 20 days of date of travel,

You will need to make payment of 75% of the tour package cost / tour components costs at the time of booking process is undertaken.
Any amendment or cancelation made by traveler would be chargeable as per cancellation policy.
Balance payment will be required to be paid at the time of confirmation of booking.

If you are booking within more than 20 days of date of travel,

You will need to make payment of booking amount of Rs. 20,000/- per pax at the time of booking process is undertaken.

Important Information

Per person cost is calculated on the basis of Minimum 02 adults travelling together and sharing one double room.
Extra adult is the 3rd person who shares the same double room and is provided with an extra bed or roll away mattress.
Mostly the hotels allow 03 adults in one double room with an extra bed or 02 adults and 02 children below 12 years of age with one extra bed.
All the guests (husband, wife & adult children) are requested to carry their photo identity proof in original & a photocopy to be produced & handed over at the time of Check In at the resort. This is mandatory.

Terms & Conditions

Please reach the airport 2 hours before the departure of the flight.
In flight food and beverages are on chargeable basis.
Kindly reconfirm the departure terminal and the flight schedule from the airline before leaving for the airport.
Web check in is not possible in our group packages.
In hotels for an extra Adult / Child either Rollaway bed or mattress shall be provided.
Complimentary Arrival / departure transfers & sightseeing tours shall be provided as per schedule fixed by the hotel. However this may require you to wait at the airport for short duration until all the guests arriving at that time exit the airport.
Transfers and Sightseeing tours are on SIC (seat in coach) / shared basis.
The request for an adjacent or an adjoining room will be on subject to availability.
It is mandatory to carry the age proof of children (02 to 11 yrs) and infant (below 02yrs) along with other travel documents. Child above than 11 yrs shall be considered for an adult cost.
In airline no seat is provided to Infant.
Room allocation (Twin bed / Double bed) is at the discretion of the hotel. The check in and check out time of the hotel is 12 to 12 noon. Numbers of meals are always corresponding to the number of nights booked. Breakfast is not provided on the day of arrival.
For early check in and late check out the payment is to be settled directly by the guest.
Hotel has the right to claim the damages incurred by any of the guest.
The guests are requested to take care of their personal belongings carefully and avoid leaving them unattended.
Proper swim wears are necessary to avail the swimming pool facility.
Please note this Boat cruise is an outsourced facility and the hotel has no control on the profile and behavior of fellow passengers on board, moreover the hotel is not responsible for the safety and security of the in-house guests availing the same.
Cost of additional services availed by the guest which are not part of our package inclusions are to be settled directly at the hotel.

Cancellation Policy

Airlines tickets once issued are Non Refundable.
If cancellation is made any time not less than 45 days prior to departure, Rs. 5,000/- (per person) + cancellation charges of flight ticket shall be deducted.
If cancellation is made 45 to 30 days prior to departure, 50% of the tour cost + cancellation charges of flight tickets shall be deducted.
If cancellation is made 30 to 15 days prior to departure, 75% of the tour cost + cancellation charges of flight tickets shall be deducted.
If cancellation is made within 15 days prior to departure, 100% of the tour cost shall be deducted.
